Many don't know it but pasties are far larger than your standard pie that you can buy at the supermarket, corner dairy or service station. A pie weighs only 200g - merely a snack, not a meal.

Award winning Chef - Adam Rickett has over 20 years of experience of working in professional kitchens. He began working as chef from the age of 15, training as a chef in St Austell, Cornwall.

Since moving to New Zealand in 2009 has had the opportunity to work with some of New Zealand's best including Simon Gault and a Chef ambassador for King Ōra Salmon. He has lead top restaurants around the country including as executive chef of Euro Bar & Restaurant in Auckland, The Matterhorn, The Boat Shed in Waiheke, and Pravda Café in Wellington.
