Once they are defrosted they can be stored in the fridge for up 7 days.

We ship our pasties frozen in insulated wool lined boxes. They are intended to arrive defrosted and ready to cook. It is recommended that defrosted food is not refrozen for food safety reasons.

However, on some occasions the pasties do arrive in a frozen state and some of our customers have chosen to place them in the freezer. If you do freeze them it will be at your own risk and if you do, we strongly recommend that your test the temperature is below 0 degrees before doing so.

Pickup is available from The Kitchen Collective, 9a Akatea Road, Glendene, Auckland. We will confirm your collection window once your order is ready.

We make in small batches and aim to get online orders to you within 4-8 days. Once your order is dispatched, we will send a tracking link. Please use that link for the most up-to-date courier information and make sure someone can unpack the order promptly.

We deliver across New Zealand where the courier network can safely reach within the cold-chain window. Rural deliveries are sent by NZ Post overnight service where available, but courier disruptions or remote access can affect timing. If there is an issue with your address, we will contact you.

Please use the tracking link and arrange for someone to receive the order where possible. Orders are packed cold with insulation and gel packs, but they should be unpacked promptly and stored in the fridge, or the freezer if still frozen. If anything looks wrong on arrival, contact info@ansum.nz within 24 hours with photos.

Yes, we deliver to rural addresses where NZ Post can provide an overnight service. This is not always possible during courier disruptions or for some remote addresses, so we will contact you if there is a problem with your order.

Our kitchen is closed between the 20th of December and 4th of January.

This means out last orders for 2025 must be in by 14th December. These orders will ship Wednesday 17th December.

Orders taken after the 14th of December will ship from the 7th of January.
